Rusatom Smart Utilities Presents Smart City Technologies in Turkmenistan

The company Rusatom Smart Utilities  (is part of the State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM) has taken part in Turkmen-Russian business forum which was held in Ashgabad on January 19-20. The cooperation in the field of transport and logistics, production, education, digital agenda and other areas was discussed at the panel sessions. The cooperation in the field of innovative and information technologies was discussed within the framework of the event as well.

Russian delegation was headed by Mikhail Mishustin, head of Russian Government. ROSATOM at the event was represented by Alexey Golubev, general director of Digital Platforms and Smart City Solutions, JSC (is part of ROSATOM’s division – Rusatom Smart Utilities). He showed the division’s developments in the area SMART CITY – digital systems for highly efficient management of territories. The company’s product portfolio has solutions in the field of city management, public utilities infrastructure, resource supply and municipal economy, development of tourism and hospitality industry, interaction with population, development of business activity, intelligent transport systems, etc.

The round table “Cooperation in the field of innovative and informational technologies, digitalization of economy” was held within the framework of the business program of the forum. The experts of two countries exchanged experience in the field of development of modern digital platforms. One of the discussion focuses was the projects and services of the smart city – Alexey Golubev’s speech caught colleagues’ interest and arouse enthusiasm.

Within the framework of the forum, Alexey Golubev held meetings with the specialists representing the agency Turkmensvyaz, High Technology Center, department of informational security and digital technologies of the Mayor’s office of Ashgabad. The parties built a productive dialogue and discussed potential cooperation.

We have accumulated substantial specific experience in implementation of various digital projects; our technological solutions have been launched in tens of cities. And we are glad to share this and offer our competences for elaboration of tasks and projects in accordance with the international standards of Smart City. Our IT products prove to be helpful and reliable in the development of territories. Let me stress that as a digital company we adhere to an important principle of cooperation, which allows to implement a complex digital transformation. The today’s event and meetings – one more step in this direction. As the first concept of the innovative city in Turkmenistan, the company is ready to offer a complex of solutions under control of the single information system. “One of our solutions – Smart Lean City – is aimed for centralized collection and storage of information on the life of the territory with the aim of taking quick correct managerial approaches based on objective data. “Intelligent Transport Systems increase safety on roads, efficiency of road complex management. Besides, our product portfolio contains solutions for digital transformation of the enterprises of the housing and public utilities sector,” emphasized Alexey Golubev.

The forum is held for the purpose of deepening the trade and economic cooperation of Russia and Turkmenistan. The companies of both the parties took part in the event: 220 companies from Russia – from more than 40 regions, and 110 companies from Turkmenistan. They included the enterprises of the production sector, agroindustrial complex, transport, logistics, IТ and education.
